There is a tea stall in Madurai in West Masi street, where you can drink a cup of tea and after drinking tea you can eat the cup which tastes like a biscuit dipped in tea. These tea stall could be lost in group of many tea stalls situated in West Masi Street, but it made its own identity by making and selling this biscuit cup and tea. It also named it's tea as RS Pathy Nilgiri Tea. It has made many fans from all over the world. Theses cups are eco-friendly and it helps in reducing plastic.

When the State Government ban the plastic in India in January 2019. Sabaapathy spent many years in searching for something suitable to serve his brand of tea. He explains : “People are finding it safe, hygienic and a little more filling than the regular cup of tea, and are also happy about its zero-waste value "

Edible cup

Friends, can you think how much the price of the would be comment it below.  It's price is just ₹20. I think that, it is not much costly. If you think about packet of biscuit, it costs around ₹10 and a cup of tea around ₹10. The shop not only sells tea, it also sells cups, spoons, plates, etc of different tastes. They generally tastes like chocolate-flavoured biscuits. They generally sells minimum of 500 cups per day. Due to this pandemic, very less people are visiting the shop to drink tea.

They find a solution that, they will deliver cups home to home. At starting, many cups broken during shipping, but now they managed to deliver it safely. They are also trying to introduce new flavours of spoons, cups, etc. The Pandemic has reduced the selling by 20%.

Biscuit cup

They and their tea are trying to make the cups to stand for around 6 months without spoiling. The cup made by them can hold 60 ml of tea for around 10 minutes, which is an average time in which people can finish a cup of tea.
